Oil on canvas by Gabriel Femenia i Maura (Palma de Mallorca, 1685 – 1752), was a Majorcan baroque painter, promoter of landscape painting in Majorca. Highly valued by contemporary critics, he is considered one of the best Mallorcan painters of the 18th century.
The Oil painting that represents “Rest on the Flight into Egypt” is a rectangular landscape with a carved wooden frame gilded with fine gold.
