English porcelain jug “Royal Crown Derby”, with handle decorated with flowers and ornaments in green and gold on a cobalt blue background.
In 1890, Queen Victoria appointed Crown Derby as “Her Majesty’s Official Manufacturer of Porcelains” and, by royal decree, she granted it the title of “The Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Company”.
